Must be sent to the recipient separately. They must be issued in accordance with the customs regulations and bear a certificate of value.

  1. Gifts whose value does not exceed 40 New Zealand-Dollars
  2. Goods of any kind imported by mail, the value of which does not exceed 20 New Zealand-Dollars and are intended for the personal use of the recipient and not for sale, trade or use in the business or profession of the importer
