 Iceland: Import and Customs Regulations

Customs declaration(s):

  1. Packages:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 either in Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.
  2. Letters containing goods and packets:
    • Customs Declaration CN 22 either in Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.;
      if the value of the goods exceeds 300 SDRs:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 either in Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.

Invoice(s): 

Each shipment must be accompanied by an invoice detailing the contents of the consignment as well as the exact delivery price. The recipient must submit two more copies of the invoice upon customs clearance. These two copies must contain (in particular for commercial goods) exactly prescribed information which goes beyond the usual commercial form (information at the Chambers of Commerce).

Import licence(s): 

Must be submitted by the recipient for each import of goods
