Customs declaration(s):

  1. Packages:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 in Arabic, English or French
  2. Letters containing goods and packets:
    • Customs Declaration CN 22 in Arabic, English or French;
      if the value of the goods exceeds 300 SDRs:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 in Arabic, English or French

In addition, the following information is required:

  1. For fabrics:
    • number and length and width of the sections; whether plain, interweaved, dyed or printed; raw materials (wool, cotton, linen, silk, etc.) and, if necessary, their mixing ratio

  2. For fruits and vegetables:
    • quantity and name of the sort
  3. For spirits:
    • number of liters and degrees of alcohol
  4. For wines:
    • indications whether ordinary or sweet wines, number of bottles and if possible alcohol degrees

Certificate(s) of origin: 

if necessary, to be procured by the importer and accompanying the concerning goods

Import licence(s):

required for certain goods and to be inserted in the shipment. The State Secretariat for Planning and Finance in Tunis ("Secrétariat d'Etat au Plan et aux Finances - Services des finances extérieurs -") issues an import permit.
