  1. Packages:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 either in English, French or Turkish
  2. Letters containing goods and packets:
    • Customs Declaration CN 22 either in English, French or Turkish;
      if the value of the goods exceeds 300 SDRs:
    • Customs declarations CN 23 either in English, French or Turkish


required, and which must either accompany the shipping documents or be inserted in the consignment. In the latter case, the consignment must bear the words "Facture insérée". The absence of invoices causes delays and difficulties in customs clearance and also damages the interests of the recipient.

Certificate(s) of origin: 

required for all dutiable items; However, this obligation exempts consignments of up to 50 Turkish pounds from countries that have a trade agreement with Turkey and non-tradable goods.

Certificates of origin must be endorsed by the Turkish consulate at the place of consignment or the nearest place. They can be attached to the accompanying documents or inserted in the consignments. In the latter case, the consignment must bear the mark "Certificat d'origine insérée".
